You haven’t seen the Bahamas until you’ve toured the blue holes of South Andros.

In two and a half hours you can experience a scenic tour of four inland blue holes, a “Buffy Flower”, a rat bat cave and native trees that are indigenous to South Andros.

There are birds such as the yellow-crowned night heron (below left) and the brown lizard cuckoo (below right) as well as wild orchids, bromeliads and more.

A good relaxing swim in the blue hole at the end of the tour is optional.  You can climb in on a ladder or jump in from a 20′ deck like this guest did.

Barbara also likes to treat her guests to native fruits such as the jelly coconut and Sapodilla.
