Dining
Your dining options include visiting a local restaurant for some mouth watering Bahamian dishes, hiring a local cook to prepare a delicious meal to enjoy in the comfort of your room, or visiting one of the nearby community grocery stores and perfecting your own recipes.
Dining Out
Traditional Bahamian restaurants like Ezrena’s, Adams’ Family and Eleanor’s serve up fresh lobster, fish and conch along with the traditional dishes of peas n’ rice, baked macaroni and cheese, cole slaw and much more. Coconut sweets are always tempting. Local restaurants are reasonably priced, offer cold drinks including Kalik (beer of the Bahamas), an authentic ambiance and friendly conversation. You will need to make a reservation early in the day to give them enough time to prepare your fresh meal for that night.
Dining In
We have several local friends who will gladly come to for an evening and prepare your fresh catch of the day, conch fritter appetizers, or whatever else appeals to your culinary curiosity. This fare varies based on the size of your group and your meal choices. Learn how to prepare your own Bahamian meal from a native and impress your friends when you arrive back home. Enjoy some of the freshest seafood in the world.
