Sailing

At the Andros Beach Club we have a Sunfish sailboat for those who are experienced sailors or who want to learn.  We plan on expanding the fleet in the coming year with a 20 foot Catamaran.

Wooden boats carved from the “Gum Elemi” tree are hand made on South Andros Island and are raced in the annual Homecoming Regatta in June.  You can learn about these boats from local craftsmen and even try to sail one during your stay.
