Andros Beach Club and South Andros Island are safe and COVID friendly

South Andros Island is a safe environment for your next trip. Vaccinated visitors no longer need a PCR test prior to entering the Bahamas – rapid tests are acceptable.  Fewer than 1,500 people inhabit South Andros along 35 miles of oceanfront road. The Bahamas has managed their pandemic response thoughtfully and diligently, and the low population density spread throughout the Family Islands helps keep people safe and isolated.  The Ministry of Tourism implemented a Tourism Readiness and Recovery Plan, and Andros Beach Club has received the COVID 19 Certification.  We provide rapid tests onsite for U.S. re-entry and 5th day testing for the Bahamas government (if necessary).  Rapid tests are also available in Nassau airport (U.S. Customs Pre-Clearance) for a fee.

 

Your family or party can have your own unit independent of other guests on the property. Large groups of up to 20 guests can have the resort to themselves and enjoy peace of mind in a remote and safe environment. Our closest neighbor is 1/2 mile away, so social distancing isn’t too difficult.  Our resort has 3 separate buildings and a 4th unit (studio) with a private entrance.  Each unit also has its own kitchen for your convenience and comfort. We’ve implemented our “Clean & Pristine Health and Safety Plan” throughout the property.  Our chef manager Maggie and the rest of our staff are all trained in CDC protocols, and we’ve placed PPE’s throughout the guest areas for your convenience. Our housekeeping staff uses cleaning products and procedures approved by the CDC and Bahamian government.
